Eva Wong is Senior Manager, Global Business Development at Maple Leaf Global Foods. She has responsibility for exploring & bringing to fruition new business opportunities, with a focus on emerging markets in Asia and Latin America.Prior to joining Maple Leaf Foods Eva worked for Mercer Management Consulting, a strategy consulting firm; non-governmental organization Emmanuel International in micro-enterprise development; and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as a consultant with the Division For Business Partnerships.
Eva has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, and a Master in Public Administration in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University. While at the Kennedy School Eva was a founding member of the Corporate Responsibility Council, and received an honourable mention for her thesis on public-private partnerships. She has studied and worked on four continents and speaks several languages.
